A mathematical model for a sample-hold circuit with a long time constant
Abstract
Consideration is given to a mathematical model for a sampler followed by a low-pass RC network where the time constant is very long compared to the sampling time. This model may be used in conjunction with the modified z-transform in order to calculate the transient response of a high-gain feedback amplifier.
