Modern ultrafast streak camera development and application review
Abstract
Consideration is given to the evolution of planar streak tubes noting the resolution possible and the integration of deflection systems. It is shown that streak cameras minimize photocathode effects and that they have applications in studies of laser fusion, photosynthesis, and molecular chemistry.
