Telemetry frame synchronization using microprogrammed bit/slice LSI technology
Abstract
This device utilizes bit/slice microprogrammed LSI technology to perform telemetry data frame synchronization. The frame synchronizer receives telemetry data from a host computer, detects the synchronization character within the telemetry data, aligns the data for efficient host computer utilization and then transfers data to the host computer. The microprocessor can perform frame synchronization on the telemetry data up to a maximum rate of 300 Kbps.
