The determination of parameters of a chemically active magnetogasdynamic medium in the proximity of a wave. I
Abstract
Nonlinear short wave equations and their solutions in the vicinity of a weak shock wave for a steady flow past a thin body of inhomogeneous, conductive, chemically active fluid in the presence of a magnetic field are derived. It is assumed that the main flow velocity is greater than the fast magnetoacoustic wave speed and that only one chemical reaction takes place in the binary mixture. The cases of quasi-equilibrium, quasi-frozen process, and media with closely related sound speeds are treated separately.
