Equations of the exterior problem of two fluid bodies
Abstract
Equations of the dynamics of two fluid bodies attracting each other according to Newton's law are derived. It is assumed that the fluid is perfect and incompressible, that deformation and the vorticity field are uniform, and that viscosity has no effect on the motion of the fluid particles under uniform deformation. In all, 12 equations of motion are obtained for each body, including three equations of motion of the mass centers and three equations of angular momentum.
