Making allowance for thermal capacity of a heat source when measuring the coefficient of thermal conductivity by the non-stationary method
Abstract
An approximate method is presented for describing a temperature field, as determined by the action of an infinitely long and infinitely thin heat source of constant power, placed in a homogeneous medium at zero initial temperature. A correction required for the thermal capacity of the heat source is evaluated and the error due to using the approximation is excluded.
