New directions for circuit and systems research relevant to electronic circuit applications

A workshop reviewed the state-of-the-art of those aspects of network theory research directly relevant to electronic circuit applications and recommendations were formulated regarding those problem areas in which new research effort is deemed particularly appropriate. Individuals from both industry and academy, having an intimate knowledge of electronic devices, relevant circuit theory and its application to electronic circuit design, participated. The major sessions of the workshop included solid state circuit design; modeling, computer aided design and simulation; microprocessors and their application.
