A test of the use of thermistor sensors for measuring small rates of water flow
Abstract
Measurements of water flow rates in hydraulic systems are studied. Low rates in the laboratory and in field measurements are listed as follows: (1) velocity measurements in laboratory trails; (2) velocity measurements of water or effluents abstracted to low lying rivers, lakes and nonflowing canals; (3) measurements of deep sea currents; and (4) leakage measurements past the seals of water reservoirs, such as hydraulic power stations, flood control reservoirs, etc.
