An Ursae Majoris -- Another AM Herculis?
Abstract
Monitoring of the AN Ursae Majoris, a novalike eclipsing variable star with a period of about 3.8 hours, is described. Studies of the star's minima, light curves, orbit, polarization, and magnetic field are discussed, noting the research of astronomers in several countries.
