Phase corrector based on a close-meshed array
Abstract
The paper considers a low-reflectance microwave phase corrector which is in the form of a close-meshed periodic array, curved on a cylindrical surface, with a variable space factor. Formulas are obtained for the shape of the cylindrical surface and for changes in the space factor. A geometrical-optics analysis of the corrector is also presented and its transmission characteristics are examined.
