Stability of a self-oscillator with AGC
Abstract
It is shown that a conflict between time lag of the AGC circuit and envelope stability of the oscillator is the prime obstacle to reduction of static error in a self-oscillator with proportional AGC. A circuit design is proposed for a self-oscillator incorporating AGC with an integrator that permits oscillation stability without static error.
