Synchronous modes of a self-excited oscillator in biharmonic excitation
Abstract
This examination of synchronous modes of a self-excited oscillator is based on the fundamental and the second and third harmonics of self-oscillation. The proposed calculation method enables a theoretical study of both transient and steady-state processes. The experimental study of the steady-state modes of a tunnel-diode oscillator confirms the theoretical view concerning the nature of the amplitude-frequency characteristics. Practical applications are considered.
