Application of microcapacimetry to high-precision clinometry
Abstract
A recently designed liquid-horizon clinometer with resolving power in the order of a few 0.0001 arc seconds is described. Results obtained with this relatively nonfragile instrument are analyzed. The operating principle is explained, and factors affecting instrument sensitivity are considered.
