Analysis of a two-circuit charging unit for amplitude-time converters and single-pulse expanders
Abstract
The paper considers a two-circuit unit for charging the capacitors of amplitude-time converters and pulse expanders with respect to the amplitude of the input pulse. The charging unit, realized on the basis of an idealized differentiating transistor circuit, is described and its precharging error is evaluated. Attention is given to an amplitude-time converter, based on an operational amplifier, incorporating the two-circuit charging unit.
