Energy Dependence of Anomalies of ERBIUM-168(DEUTERON, TRITON)ERBIUM-167 Transitions.
Abstract
Angular distribution as measured for the residual states of ER-167 populated through the (d,t) reaction with 17, 15, 13, 11, and 9 MeV deuterons. Most of the angular distributions are well reproduced by Distorted Wave Born Approximation (DWBA) with orbital angular momentum transfer lambda which are compatible with the previously assigned spin-parities of the states in all incident beam energies. A significant number of angular distributions either cannot be fitted by any resonable DWBA calculation or can only be fitted with a calculation by assuming a lambda value incompatible with the previous Nilsson assignment of the state. These anomalies have interesting energy dependence behaviors. There also exists some deviations between measured and calculated well-fitted angular distributions.
