Viscous-gravitational flow in pipes with little effect of thermogravitation
Abstract
The paper solves the problem of the range of the initial influence of thermogravitation on forced laminar flow and heat transfer in a circular pipe positioned arbitrarily in space. Approximate relations are obtained for temperature profiles, velocity components, friction drag, and heat transfer for small deviations of these parameters from laminar flow.
