The singular point of the hydromagnetic Bernoulli flow depends on the constraint imposed on the flow. If the geometry is given, the singular point appears where the Mach number is unity. If the total pressure is given as a function of position, it appears in the subsonic sub-Alfve'nic region. The latter singular point is important particularly in the numerical construction of a two-dimensional hydromagnetic structure.
