Competition of counter waves in a single-isotope ring laser with an anisotropic resonator
Abstract
The effect of the polarization characteristics of counter waves in a single-isotope ring laser on the stability of single-wave oscillatory regimes is studied. An analysis of the nature of oscillation in the wave competition zone is performed in the case of weakly elliptical polarization of the counter waves. It is shown that the counter-wave competition is significantly determined by signs of ellipticity, characterizing the direction of rotation of the electric field vector.
