The registration of gravitational waves by concentrated electromagnetic systems
Abstract
It is suggested that electromagnetic systems with concentrated parameters may be used for detecting and registering gravitational waves. Using the Lagrangian function, a technique for calculating the effect of gravitational radiation on compact electromagnetic systems is developed. Various specific systems are reviewed including an electromagnetic circuit and a chain of circuits. The possibility of detecting gravitational waves from space sources is discussed.
