Upper limit of solar polarization in the millimetre region.
Abstract
Solar polarization has been measured in the far infrared and millimeter region with a polarizing interferometer. An upper limit of 0.5% on the full disk has been found at 10/cm under the assumption that atmospheric emission in the same spectral region is unpolarized.
