Rain-scatter interference on an earth-space path
Abstract
The rain-scatter coupling between the multiple beams of an earth-station antenna viewing several synchronous satellites was calculated. The results are summarized in a simple formula. A previous terrestrial experiment on forward rain-scattering showed the validity of the single scattering assumption.
