Pure rotational HF laser oscillations from exploding-wire laser
Abstract
The letter reports 19 pure rotational HF laser transitions, 5 of which are new, from exploding-wire metal-atom oxidation lasers. The laser operates at F2 pressures as high as 500 torr and a gain length of only 0.24 m. The laser pulses are 1-4 microsec in duration and deliver about 0.0001 J/pulse.
