Nonlinear behavior of the BARITT diode microwave oscillator
Abstract
Nonlinear behavior of the free-running BARITT diode oscillator has been observed. Discontinuous changes in oscillation frequency and output power occur as the bias current changes. These nonlinearities have been investigated in coaxial and waveguide oscillators and are caused by device and circuit interaction.
