Definition of the parameters of solar protons in the earth's vicinity from radio bursts. III. Time basic functions.
Abstract
In the present paper, the temporal parameters of 10-, 30-, and 60-MeV proton fluxes are analyzed with allowance for the heliolatitude of flares and the corresponding radio bursts. Relationships deduced from the analysis are expressed in terms of temporal support functions; they are useful in the diagnostics of actual proton flares. A scheme for quantitative diagnostics of proton flares from radio burst data is proposed.
