Transient processes in an electric circuit containing a magnetoresistive nonlinearity
Abstract
An analysis of transient processes in a circuit containing a solenoid with nonlinear current-voltage characteristic is made. Quenching of the solenoid field and switching the current to direct current are studied with the aid of an approximate expression for the resistance of the solenoid, which enables calculated values of i(t) to be in disagreement with experimental values by no more than 6%.
