Particularities of the nonlinear resonance in an oscillating circuit having a p-n junction during direct currents
Abstract
Theoretical and experimental studies are made of the characteristics of a nonlinear oscillating circuit containing a semiconductor diode during self-bias. Based on an equivalent linearization method, an expression is found for the diode's effective capacitance, taking account of both barrier and diffusion capacitance. This method has also been found valid for determining the influence of higher harmonics on nonlinear resonance.
