Analytical determination of the two-dimensional interface of a liquid-gas system enclosed between plane-parallel horizontal walls
Abstract
The study concerns the motion of a gas bubble in a fluid contained between two parallel plates forming a narrow channel. For a large bubble radius, the shape of the meniscus is determined, and the largest possible distance between the plates for which the bubble still touches both plates is calculated.
