Photoelectric photometry of the shell star 4 Herculis.
Abstract
A total of 268 photoelectric observations obtained in 1974 and 1975 plotted modulo 46.1943 d have failed to reveal any eclipse and hence fail to provide any direct evidence in favor of the binary star hypothesis of Harmanec, Koubsky, Krpata and Zdarsky. Nevertheless, because of the excellent phase coverage, they succeed in showing that, within the framework of the binary hypothesis, the orbital inclination must be less than i=79.3 arcdeg.
