Development and design of sets of scientific measuring equipment and of the theory of methods of rocket meteorological measurements
Abstract
Numerous special devices for taking measurements of meteorological and atmospheric parameters are described, along with interpretation of experimental data. An isopentane-filled plastic sphere containing an aluminum capsule was released as a radio reflection target from a height of 90 km; various rocket probes and the Dart family of rocket probes are described, along with measurements of wind, air density, particle concentration profiles, and scattered radiation. Air thermostats and artificial dipoles for scattering experiments in the upper atmosphere are described.
