Sirio SHF Experiment - An outline of the onboard transponder performance
Abstract
Major properties of the SHF Experiment transponder and despun antenna subsystem aboard the Sirio satellite are tabulated. Results of measurements made with an engineering model are presented, and extensive tables are provided which illustrate the transponder measurement error in the propagation mode as well as the transmission channel characteristics in wideband and narrowband communications experiments.
