Computer techniques used in an infrared spectrometer data acquisition and analysis system
Abstract
A computerized data acquisition and analysis system was designed to process radiance data obtained from precision narrow band IR interference filters used in satellite borne atmospheric temperature sounders. The data acquisition and analysis system is used to obtain the accurate inversion of radiance data to atmospheric temperature profiles, which requires a precise knowledge of the spectral transfer function of the filters. The system and problems involved in its operation are described.
