One-dimensional statistics of signals in radio lines containing stochastic Gaussian surfaces
Abstract
The problem of the scattering of radio waves of arbitrary polarization on a statistically rough surface which is given in the form of a normal uniform and anisotropic field with a Gaussian correlation function is examined in the Kirchhoff approximation. Formulas are obtained for signal scattering in the Fresnel zone and the effects of the statistical characteristics of the rough surface on the statistical characteristics of the signal are studied.
