The transmission of control commands and measured data via radio and cable, utilizing a digital technique /with application example/
Abstract
Systems for the transmission of control commands and data in connection with the automatization of processes, particularly those requiring the employment of computers, are discussed. Pulse sequences, called information blocks, are generated in a transmitter. The signals are transmitted with the aid of a high-frequency carrier from the transmitter antenna to the receiver. A pulse position modulation method is employed for the transmission operations. Attention is given to specific examples which illustrate the employment of the described approach in practical applications.
