Systems of manual control of spacecraft
Abstract
Manual control is an important means of controlling a manned spacecraft in various stages of space flight because of enhanced reliability of performance and simplification of the control system and measuring instrumentation. Engineering-psychological requirements of manual control of a space vehicle are discussed. Principles of constructing manual-control systems for correct operation of a spacecraft in various flight stages are described. Attention is given to the characteristics of manual attitude control systems, rendezvous and docking control systems, and reentry control systems to a prescribed landing site.
