Exact solutions of Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible fluid flow in channels in the presence of suction /blowing/
Abstract
Solutions are obtained to the Navier-Stokes equations describing viscous incompressible flow in plane wedge-shaped and conical porous-wall channels, with consideration given to cases of asymptotically small angles of channel aperture. It is found that exact solutions of the equations of motion of a viscous fluid, where velocity is inversely proportional to the radius of the channel, can be interpreted as solutions of the problem of flow in conical channels with porous walls, for cases of suction or blowing.
