A survey of optimization methods used to design electrical circuits
Abstract
The author surveys the most important methods used to design electrical circuits. They are first-order methods using an analytical expression for the gradient of the object function and for gradients of coupling conditions. Moreover the basic methods are described of unidimensional minimization of a sum of squares, minimization of the maximum deviation, and minimization with coupling conditions.
