Planning criteria of the repeater station for circular waveguide systems
Abstract
The various aspects to be taken into account in planning the equipment of repeater stations for telecommunication systems with circular waveguides, and the ways in which the system itself can be realized, are dealt with. The aspects considered are: costs of the equipment, number of channels, branching filters, and type of modulation and demodulation. The reasons for distortion in group delay and amplitude occurring in circular waveguides are examined.
