Gasdynamic and chemical lasers; Proceedings of the International Symposium, Cologne, West Germany, October 11-15, 1976
Abstract
Attention is given to gasdynamic lasers, plasmadynamic lasers, a compact mode-controlled TEA CO2 laser, the use of laser Raman spectroscopy for flow field measurements, and a combined laser and molecular-beam technique for the diagnosis of a supersonic Na/Na2 beam. Also considered are laser cutting and welding, explosive vaporization induced by the interaction of a high power CO2 laser with a target, the vibrational relaxation and small signal gain of anharmonic oscillator molecules (CO, HBr, N2, NO), time resolved spectroscopy of a pulsed CO chemical laser, and emission spectroscopy of F2-H2 systems in a shock tube.
