Analytical optimization of the final positioning of a geostationary satellite with operational constraints
Abstract
The final positioning of a spin stabilized geostationary satellite is optimized taking into account the operational constraints concerning the rendezvous duration and the direction of the axis of spin. Linearized calculus allows us to obtain, for each of the three rendezvous modes studied, an analytical expression for the correction impulses in terms of the deviations to be removed.
