State of the art, tasks, and perspectives of the development of the automated technical design of circuits
Abstract
Numerical aspects of the technical design of circuits via digital computer are reviewed. Attention is given to the development of mathematical models, the construction of an approximate scheme for circuit design, and the methods of state variables and node potentials. Algorithms for solving the differential equations describing the circuits are discussed with emphasis on the ZARS language for design algorithms, static regime calculations, the calculation of transient proceses, and methods for calculating large circuits. Methods of analysis and optimization are also considered.
