Selection of the operating mode of amplifiers and mixers constructed on the basis of MOS tetrodes
Abstract
MOS tetrodes find efficient application in devices such as phase detectors and frequency multipliers, where it is necessary to separate input signals into different channels. A model of an MOS tetrode consisting of the sequential coupling of two field effect triodes is used to obtain an analytical expression for the volt-ampere characteristics of an MOS tetrode and to analyze devices (amplifiers, mixers, etc.) constructed on its basis.
