Saturation effect in masers taking account of losses in electrodynamic systems
Abstract
The paper presents a theoretical study of the saturation effect in two types of masers. The dependence of the amplification coefficient of a resonator maser on the value of the input signal is determined taking account of the losses in the passive input element. The same dependence is investigated for the case of a traveling wave maser taking account of the attenuation losses in the delay system. Results of theory are compared with experimental results.
