On optimum stabilization of positions of relative equilibrium of a satellite-gyrostat.
Abstract
A method proposed by Rumiantsev (1970) is used in the present paper to study the optimal attitude stabilization of a satellite by means of rotors. The center of mass of the gyrostabilized satellite is assumed to move as a material particle along a Keplerian orbit.
