Diffraction efficiency and some characteristics of spectra of discrete amplitudinal binary holograms
Abstract
The diffraction efficiency of amplitudinal binary discrete holograms is studied as a function of the diffuseness of the discrete structure recording the hologram and of the spatial frequency of the hologram, taking account of the finiteness of the number of discrete elements performing the holography. Noise generated in the process of discrete holography is considered and its intensity is evaluated. The analysis is applied here to the case of Fourier holograms.
