Hologram interferometry of vibrations represented by the square of a Jacobian elliptic function
Abstract
The paper deals with the evaluation of fringe irradiance distribution in time-averaged holographic interferometry of periodic, non-sinusoidal vibrations represented by the square of a Jacobian elliptic function. Analysis has been performed by considering the effect of motion on coherence. The techniques of holographic addition and substraction have been applied to extend the amplitude measurement range. Graphical representation of the fringe irradiance distribution in the reconstructed image is given in all the cases.
