Half-ring stretcher detector for 8 microns garnet bubbles
Abstract
High-speed detection of garnet bubble domains with diameters less than 10 microns is performed through analysis of the bubble domain enlargement at the corners of the propagation path. Two types of magnetoresistive detector with outputs of 2.1 mV at 100 kHz and 0.7 mV at 150 kHz respectively are employed in the analyses. A 0 - pi detection method improves resolution and yields a data transmission rate twice that of previous methods.
