Approximation of a limited-thrust trajectory by an impulse-controlled trajectory
Abstract
A computer program worked out for calculating impulse-controlled trajectories is discussed, and its application to computation of low-thrust trajectories and development of a suitable algorithm are discussed. Application of the algorithm elaborated to computations for an interplanetary mission and a geostationary satellite mission. Computations for an optimum trajectory are discussed.
