Some approximate models of one-dimensional pulsations of a cylindrical cavity in an incompressible fluid
Abstract
Three existing approximate equations each of which describes the pulsations of a cylindrical cavity in an ideal incompressible fluid are compared with each other and with experimental data. The comparison is carried out for explosions in water at distances between 0.21 and 3.5 m below the free surface and for charge diameters of 0.65, 1.65, and 3.0 mm.
