Disturbing-voltage analysis with the aid of power-line and interference simulators
Abstract
The line voltage is distorted by switching processes of various characteristics. The distortions produce undesirable frequency-dependent interference effects. It is often important to take these effects into account during the development stage of an electric device. The determination of the disturbing effects by means of a simulation method is discussed and approaches for the evaluation of the noise sources are considered. Attention is given to regulations regarding the admissible noise intensity. A description is presented of procedures for reducing or eliminating the line-related interference effects.
