Application of the theory of singularly perturbed equations to investigations of gyroscopic systems
Abstract
Construction of an asymptotic solution for a system of singularly perturbed equations of specified form is attempted, and the procedure is recommended for a complete description of the motion of gyroscopic systems over a finite time interval. Equations describing systematic drifts are treated as perturbed equations in variations for the precessional equations, and a quadrature solution is possible if the general solution of the precessional equations is known.
